The new company, which was registered with Companies House in July 2018, is seeking licences for:

The synopsis of the firm’s business plan outlined in the consultation document published by Ofwat says:
“Amber Water Solutions will package water retail services in a way that best suits its clients´ ever changing needs. Integral to this is to be pioneers in the build-to-rent market, expanding its water division to offer a retail service to its current clients (both corporate and small and medium size businesses SME).”

amber energy already offers a range of management services to business customers – the firm’s website says its specialist water consultants can help “squeeze efficiency from every last drop.”
The company focuses on clean water, waste water, drainage and trade effluent and looks at customer sites to provide a bespoke water management plan.
“Once we know this information, we’re able to provide you with solutions for each type of water on each site. This approach allows us to deliver up to 20% savings on the cost of water.”
“Our water experts have years of experience in the water industry and have seen and helped to solve a wide variety of issues across several industries. Chances are we’ve dealt with problems like yours before, and if we haven’t then we have the creativity and knowledge to be able to solve it.” the website says.
