MOSL has published its Quarter 4 (Q4) Report for its key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement programmes for 2025/26.

The report shows the market operator met or exceeded 22 out of 24 KPIs in Q4. It also shows the improvement programme completion rate was 92% for the year.
In total, MOSL completed 49 milestones in 2025/26, including 4 deferred from 2024/25. A further 5 milestones have been rescheduled for 2026/27. MOSL’s Projected Milestones 2025/26 , which outlines its planned and actual milestone delivery dates for the year has been updated in line with the release of the report.
Key deliverables this quarter include:
- Smart Meter Read Hub: completed the development and system testing of Phase 1 of the hub, ready for trading parties who signed the Interim User Agreement to begin using it from 1 April 2026.
- Strategic Data Programme: reviewed stakeholder requirements for industry segmentation with delivery partner IDenteq and the programme working group.
- Strategic Metering Review: assessed the impacts of smart metering on bilateral processes and presented the findings to the Metering Committee.
- Market Evolution: included Settlement Strategy as an improvement programme in our 2026/27 Business Plan, which was approved by members.
- Modernisation of Market Systems: completed an evaluation of future reporting needs for trading parties, ensuring our systems are robust and effective.
- Market Performance Framework: successfully delivered the first phase of reporting, with key performance indicator reports and bilateral reporting (including deferral data) going live in January 2026.
In response to previous trading party feedback, MOSL has provided a forward look to the Q1 milestones for 2026/27. These are subject to change and will be finalised and reported on in the Q1 publication in August 2026.
