Water industry regulator Ofwat has published the timetable setting out when all interested parties –including customers and customer groups, quality regulators, water companies, the investor community and others –can make representations on Ofwat’s draft decisions as part of the 2014 price review.
The water companies sent Ofwat their business plans in December 2013 – Ofwat will make both draft and final determinations on their price controls, with final determinations for all companies to be published on 12 December 2014.
Ofwat will allow five weeks for interested parties to make representations after each of the draft determinations are published.
Relevant closing dates for formal representations are as follows:
- 30 April draft determinations – 4 June.
- 25 June draft determinations – 30 July.
- 29 August draft determinations – 3 October.
