NAO: utilities regulators can’t prove effective response to consumer concerns or enough protection to those in need
The four main regulators – Ofwat, Ofgem, Ofcom and the Financial Conduct Authority – cannot prove if they are effectively responding to consumer concerns or offering enough protection for those who need it, according to the National Audit Office.
PwC - consumer protection ‘not primary concern' of MOSL or Open Water
A report prepared by PwC for water watchdog CCWater has said that consumer protection is not the primary concern of the Government's Open Water programme led by Defra, Ofwat and MOSL, the market operator currently putting the final arrangements for the non-household retail sector in place.
