Call for Papers - IWA New Developments in IT & Water Conference

The International Water Association and the organisers of WWEM, the International Water, Wastewater & Environmental Monitoring Conference, have announced a Call for Papers, Posters and Workshops for the 3rd IWA New Developments in IT & Water Conference which will take place in the UK in November.

The conference will be a joint conference with the already well established Water, Wastewater & Environment Monitoring Conference & Exhibition (WWEM), now its 7th year at the Telford Exhibition Centre.

The two conferences are complementary to each other with WWEM concentrating on instrumentation and the IT & Water Conference concentrating on data, information and its application within the Water Industry.

The 3rd International Water Association New Developments in IT in Water is an official IWA Conference that will be take place on 1st-3rd November 2016 in Telford.

The use of instrumentation, data, modelling and process control has become an essential part of the modern water industry which continues to face greater demands from environmental to financial. Addressing challenges ranging from population growth to climate change to improved environmental quality has meant that the water industry has had to provide an enhanced service for less.

The development of a more efficient service has been, at least in part, addressed by improved technology in IT & Water. This has also brought challenges in areas such as cyber security and opportunities in areas such as the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing & Sofware as a Service.

Visit the Conference website for further details of the Call for Papers at www.wwem.uk.com/it2016
