Saint-Gobain PAM UK has launched Watershed Issues, a new online channel showcasing comment by industry experts and inviting contributions on key issues currently challenging the water and building sectors.
Visitors to Watershed Issues will be able to contribute to the discussion topics through a comments section - Saint-Gobain PAM UK hopes the online forum will stimulate a proactive dialogue between stakeholders from all sides of the industry.
Mark Smith, Managing Director of the Water Research Centre has kick-started the debate with a discussion centred on whether the water industry is at risk of stagnating if more emphasis isn’t placed on innovation.
Future topics will address key areas such as sustainability, UK manufacturing, building information modelling (BIM) and other related issues.
Mark Esling, Business Development Director at Saint-Gobain PAM UK, said:
“We are really excited to be launching Watershed Issues. This gives us the opportunity to facilitate discussions surrounding the significant matters that are affecting the water and building industries."
“Not only will we all benefit from the insight of industry experts, with their views on key topics, but visitors to the site will have the ability to really get involved with the discussion via the comments section. By adding everyone’s opinions and views, we hope that this will reveal a richer and well-rounded look at each issue.”
