The Welsh Assembly has launched a new consultation on its Draft Vision and Objectives and the proposed structure of the Welsh National Marine Plan.
Earlier this year the Assembly published the Statement of Public Participation following consultation.
That Statement set out how it intends to manage the planning process towards establishing the Plan in 2015.
The process began with the publication of the Statement of Public Participation, and is continuing with key draft documents being shared for comment on the website.
These include the draft Strategic Scoping Exercise on the evidence base for the Plan which incorporates the scoping of the Sustainability Appraisal. All developing documents, updates and final versions will be placed in the Marine Planning part of the website.
The Assembly is now seeking comments specifically on the draft Vision and Objectives for the Welsh National Marine Plan as well as the proposed structure for the Plan. The feedback will then be considered in the development of the Plan. A full and formal consultation on a completed draft of the Welsh National Marine Plan will take place early next year.
Deadline for responses is 10 November 2014. Click here to access the consultation.
