Following two consultations, Ofwat has published its final decision paper setting out its preferred approach to the Water Efficiency Fund (WEF) and the proposed two-stream approach.

Retail market operator MOSL has published a new version of the publicly available water efficiency dashboard. The latest version uses official Ofwat Water Resource Zone (WRZ) data and newly enriched market data at a supply point (SPID) level, as opposed to meter level, as the dashboard did previously.

An urgent call to action has been raised to get the country back on track reducing demand for water across England, not only to tackle the growing national water deficit (around four billion litres of water a day by 2050), but also to support net zero ambitions.
