Wrekin Construction go into administration

Shropshire-based Wrekin Construction, which employs up to 600 workers across the UK,  has gone into administration.

Grontmij wins Commonwealth contract

Leading European engineering consultancy, Grontmij has been appointed to three frameworks for the provision of services to Glasgow City Council on the Commonwealth Games Athlete’s Village site.

Scott Wilson Group PLC, the multi-disciplinary international design and engineering consultancy for the built and natural environments, are to make further staff cuts according to the Interim Management Statement released this morning for the period from 12 December 2008 to date.

Thames Water has replied to comments received during its recent public consultation on its draft Water Resources Management Plan.
