Wastewater solutions specialist Jacopa has agreed a landmark deal with Biogest AG that will cement Jacopa’s position as the UK’s one stop shop for customers in the stormwater management market.

The move teams Jacopa’s existing successful portfolio of innovative screens and flushing systems with Biogest’s highly regarded and competitive stainless steel stormwater products.

Jacopa Managing Director Alex Lloyd and Biogest Director of Sales Thorsten Neuerer finalised the new agreement this week at Biogest’s HQ in Taunusstein, Germany. The deal gives Jacopa the exclusive right to market Biogest’s extensive range of stormwater products in the UK and Ireland municipal market.

Biogest AG is a leading provider of stormwater management solutions. The Company designs and manufactures an extensive range of innovative technologies that includes combined sewer overflow (CSO) systems, flow regulators and flushing systems.

The deal follows hard on the heels of Jacopa’s appointment of Tony Simister who will lead and support the development of the Company’s stormwater portfolio. Tony has a strong background in both the commercial and engineering aspects of stormwater projects and is well known within the industry for his professional contributions.
