The House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee is preparing to hold a one-off evidence session on climate change and biodiversity.
Tony Juniper CBE, Chair of Natural England, together with Rt Hon. Lord Deben, Chair of the Committee on Climate Change, will appear before the Committee at 10.15am tomorrow morning and face questions on on the EAC said are two of the greatest threats facing humanity: climate change and biodiversity loss.
This will include:
- reducing the UK’s emissions
- preparing for climate change
- Net Zero Government
- Natural England’s Action Plan
- land management
- carbon storage
- funding
