J. Murphy & Sons Limited has launched Murphy Innovation Microsite to promote value-engineered solutions for clients.
The Murphy Innovation Microsite, www.murphyinnovation.com, is a publicly-accessible hub of some of the company’s recent process and product innovations. The purpose of the microsite is to encourage both company and industry-wide innovation with a view to driving cost-effective and leading-edge solutions for clients.
“Our industry is changing and we believe that innovation will be the engine that delivers that change. There is pressure on the industry to do things differently. Our clients need us to deliver safer, greener, quicker, to a higher quality and lower cost. Our aim is to promote sustainable solutions which deliver on clients’ changing needs,” explained John Stack, Murphy’s CEO.
Innovation Edge™ is the backbone of the microsite’s content and describes some of the recent innovations the company has used successfully within the business. The innovation’s benefits around the sustainability agenda – economic, environmental and social impact, as well as their application and market potential are captured.
“We want to promote a higher degree of learning and collaboration. We encourage all of our teams to challenge the status quo and look for alternative solutions in order to provide lean value-engineered results for our clients. Our Innovation Microsite provides a pool of quickly accessible resources to support this process,” said John Stack.
A number of the innovations are a product of Murphy’s collaboration with third parties, including clients, partners, suppliers and academic institutions, demonstrating the value of sharing expertise across the industry. Murphy has been working with the Building Research Establishment (BRE) in capturing some of the innovations.
The Murphy Innovation Microsite contains a number of innovations from different market sectors and will be continually updated.
