Following the merger of Veolia Water Central, Veolia Water Southeast and Veolia Water East into a single business, customers will now see a different company name on their bills.
From today, Monday 1 October, the business will be known as Affinity Water. Over the coming months, wherever the name Veolia Water appears on bills, vehicles, and other communications, it will be replaced by Affinity Water.
The firm said the cost of the name change will be met by its owners and will not be passed on to customers. Water charges will continue to be set by the independent regulator, Ofwat.
Chief Executive Officer, Richard Bienfait stated:
“Our new name, Affinity Water, was chosen to reflect our community-focused company and our passion to deliver a high quality water service to all of our customers.”
