Hyder Consulting has appointed Simon Bradley to the role of Sector Managing Director of its UK Utilities business.
The multinational design and engineering consultancy employs around 4,000 people across the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, East Asia and Australia. The UK Utilities business comprises engineering expertise in the regulated water sector, geotechnical and site investigation experts and MEICA specialists.
Simon Bradley moves across most from the position of Regional Commercial Director with Hyder where he focussed on contract negotiations and commercial relationships. Prior to joining Hyder, he spent more than 15 years’ as a lawyer operating in the construction sector representing contractors, consultants and employers in a variety of disputes and projects.

I believe we have the right team and the sector structure in place to take on the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
