MMB jv to focus on wastewater non-infrastructure in 1st year of Welsh Water AMP6 framework

The Mott MacDonald Bentley jv recently named as one of four Capital Delivery Alliance partners to help deliver Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water AMP6 capital programme,will focus on wastewater non-infrastructure in the first year of the framework.

MMB will be working  collaboratively with DCC to deliver the company’s capital programme and will operate as part of a co-located integrated solutions team responsible for identifying opportunities, developing innovative solutions and project bundling.

MMB will focus on wastewater non-infrastructure in the first year of AMP6 and will undertake the design and construction of projects across the whole of the DCC region.

Matt Caudwell, MMB’s bid manager, said:

“Each Capital Delivery Alliance partner comprises a construction and a consultancy capability, an approach that is ideally suited to our expertise. MMB has a long tradition of working collaboratively to deliver innovative and efficient solutions by being involved in projects at an early stage, when the business needs solutions are being developed. DCC’s overall approach, including their use of an integrated solutions team, perfectly fits our capabilities and skills.”

This latest contract award for MMB follows previous appointments by United Utilities, Severn Trent Water, Yorkshire Water and Anglian Water on AMP6 frameworks. With the potential to extend into the  AMP7 Capital Programme, the contract is expected to run until 2025, with a review in 2020.
