South East Water is encouraging its customers to play a part in shaping their future contact via a major survey initiative - the water company has issued around 50,000 questionnaires to customers and the survey is also available online.
South East Water wants to hear customer views about future water charges and the service they would like to receive from the water firm. The water company is asking its customers for their opinions on a range of issues, including:
- Whether they contacted South East Water in the last 12 months
- How satisfied they were overall with the service they received when they contacted the firm
- How affordable the current bill is
- Whether they consider the current water bill to be value for money
The water company is also seeking feedback on the extent to which customers are now using technology to get information- including use of live webchat, website, twitter and facebook.
Customers are also asked whether they would prefer to manage their account online and what they would use this facility for, including:
- Viewing a bill
- Paying a bill
- Updating payment details
- Providing a meter reading
- Checking how much water their household is using
The survey also includes a separate section on awareness of South East Water in terms of its visibility as a company in the community.
Commenting on the survey, Tanya Sephton, Head of Business Performance, said:
“Our regular surveys help put customers at the forefront of our decision-making and influences how we run our day-to-day activities.
“Previous surveys have led to the introduction of our twitter and Live Chat facilities on the website which now gives customers more ways of interacting with us. We hope this latest survey will deliver more new ideas and a better understanding of how customers view us.”
