Business Stream, Scotland’s leading provider of non-domestic water and waste water services, has announced that chief executive Mark Powles has stepped down.
Johanna Dow, Business Stream’s finance director since the company’s formation in 2007, has been appointed as interim chief executive.
Mark was appointed as Business Stream’s inaugural chief executive when the business was formed ahead of deregulation in the Scottish non-domestic retail market in 2008.
Business Stream chairman Ronnie Mercer said:
