Wessex Water has said that major investment in a new supply grid and massively reduced leakage on its network will make future hosepipe bans unlikely.

Costain reports record £3.9bn order book

Costain, the engineering solutions provider,  has announced another strong performance with a 21% increase in underlying operating profit, a record order book and a 15% increase in the interim dividend for the first six months of 2016.

Dee Valley Water has successfully prosecuted two businesses in the Chester area for illegally accessing water from hydrants connected to its water supply network.

Irish Water is holding information evenings on a proposed new covered reservoir, to be built at the Stillorgan Reservoir site - the water company has committed to investing around €80 million in the project.
