South Staffs Water awards £144m AMP6/7 repair and maintenance contract

South Staffordshire Water has awarded a contract for repair and maintenance services during AMP6 and 7 for an estimated £144 million.

The contract covers 3 separate lots for AMP6/7 works on network related activities.

IWS Ltd has been awarded a contract worth  £13,310,000, while  Manchester based firm T&K Gallagher and Uniplumb (Cambridge) Ltd have won contracts worth £700,000 and £300,000 respectively.

Six companies were in the bidding for work under the  contract, which will run for 10 years.
