Northumbrian Water has gone out to tender with a major AMP6/7 repair and maintenance services contract worth up to £80 million.
The tender for minor building and civil maintenance services covers the water company’s areas of operation in both the North East Region and Essex and Suffolk Regions.
Northumbrian Water is looking to appoint up to eight suppliers to the framework agreement, which is being tendered in four Lots.
Estimated value of the contract is put at between £40 million to £80 million, depending on contractt length. The framework agreement will run for up to 10 years – with an initial 5 year term with option to extend for a further 5 years.
The works covered by the framework comprise largely small reactive building and minor civil engineering maintenance works with some planned maintenance and some minor civil alterations and improvements works to buildings and structures on NWG operational sites including offices and leisure facilities, estates properties and minor infrastructure maintenance works.
