Yorkshire Water awards marine outfalls installation contract

Yorkshire Water has awarded a marine outfalls installation contract to as yet undisclosed suppliers.

When the contract went out to tender Yorkshire Water was looking for principal contractors for the design, procurement, construction and testing on a design and build basis for onshore and inshore marine works.

Information about commercial offers has not been disclosed by the water company – including details about successful bidders and overall contract value.

The European Commission has said it will respect any sensitive commercial aspects which the contracting entities may point out - including the number of tenders received, the identity of economic operators, or prices.
