Thames Water has awarded a framework contract for the supply new of screens and associated equipment to cover its needs for AMP6 across the whole Thames Water region.
Equipment covered under the contract includes:
- inlet and storm screens;
- sludge screens;
- CSO screens;
- abstraction screens;
- grit removal;
- screenings handling.
The contract also includes the design, supply, installation and commissioning of assets, including the supply of spare parts/components to Thames Water's maintenance suppliers for use on Thames Water assets or to Thames Water direct.
Huber Technology, Jacopa Ltd, The Longwood Engineering Company Ltd and Tuke & Bell Ltd have all won places on the framework.
The agreements are for an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 5 years.
