Scottish Water awards £3m field services software contract

Scottish Water has awarded  a contract for field services software worth an estimated £3 million.

The software will be integrated with existing front office functions and communicate with field service personnel.

The field service element is intended to allow field service personnel to be able to:

  • accept, reject and update jobs sent to them
  • get information about a customer, asset or premises involved in a job
  • get information to support the job from a variety of internal and external sources, including photo, video
  • identify equipment required to complete the job
  • report job status back to corporate functions

US-headquartered ClickSoftware firm, has won the multi-million pound contract, one of three companies in the bidding for the work.

The firm is a leading global field service management provider - more than 350 global enterprises across 20+ industries use its services. National Grid, the Environment Agency and Anglian Water are among the conpany’s UK clients.
