Northern Ireland Water is looking to procure a strategic Integrated Partnerships Framework to support the delivery of the remainder of its proposed water and sewerage capital investments up to 2021 and the following 6 year Business Plan to March 2027 worth up to £1.68 billion.
Thewater company is planning to hold a a market engagement day ahead of going out to tender in April to present further details of the Integrated Partnerships framework, its 3 lots and the planned procurement process.
NI Water’s current PC15 Business Plan will end on 31st March 2021 and the following PC21 Business Plan for April 2021 to March 2027 is currently under development. It is proposed that the framework will consist of 3 lots covering non-infrastructure works and infrastructure works associated with water treatment and distribution, sewage collection and treatment assets and be based on the NEC4 Framework Contract.
The Integrated Partnerships Framework (including any extensions) , will be subject to approval of the PC21 Business Plan and a “Living with Water” programme of works.
NI Water intends to formally publish a call for competition at EU and national levels in connection with the procurement in April 2018.
