Thames Water has released the latest update for its Capital Delivery Major Projects Pipeline - the water company’s Capital Delivery Office is planning to spend around £1.34 billion on remaining AMP7 and upcoming AMP8 major projects.

The indicative pipeline aims to inform the market of Thames's current procurement and delivery plans for its major projects and sets out details of the individual projects, including:
- Project Title
- Short description
- Estimated tender release date
- Estimated contract award date
- Estimated construction start date
- Estimated contract duration (award to takeover)
- Estimated contract value (ex. VAT)
- Likely procurement procedure
Multi-million pound upcoming projects listed on the latest update include:
- Oxford Sewage Treatment Works (STW) - £240 million to £260 million
- Maple Lodge STW - £180 million
- Riverside STW - £120 million
- Beckton STW WAAP - £40 million
- Beckton STW THP Upgrade - £130 million
- Mogden STW WAAP - £80 million
- Didcot STW - Growth, Phosphorus, CHP - £110 million
- Hampton Advanced Water Treatment Works (AWTW) UV Treatment - £50 million
- Ashford UV AWTW UV treatment - £70 million
- Wantage STW Growth, Phosphorus - £40 million
- Reading STW Phosphorus, CHP, WAAP - £60 million
- Swindon STW - Sludge Growth, Phosphorus, pollution - £70 million
- Crossness STW WAAP - £80 million
- Hogsmill STW - Phosphorus, CHP & WNI River restoration - £60 million
Thames Water said the pipeline is relatively fluid and therefore the publication of the anticipated pipeline should not be taken as a commitment or representation to enter into a contractual arrangement or to proceed with a procurement.
The water company also cautions that it cannot guarantee that the requirements, contract value, procurement procedure and/or timeline will be as stated.
