The Environment Agency has gone out to tender with a software package and information systems contract for a single, proven telemetry system worth an estimated £6 million.
The Agency is tendering for a single, proven telemetry system to replace eight of its current systems and is looking for a telemetry system supplier to provide and support the system.
The Future of National Telemetry (FoNT) Application System will be hosted on a Cloud environment (Azure or AWS) which will be provided separately by the Environment Agency.
Duration of the contract is 5 years with two more 12 month extension options.
