£75M framework win for Morgan Sindall and Grontmij

Joint venture partners, Morgan Sindall and Grontmij have secured a second AMP5 framework agreement, which could be worth an estimated £75 million from Yorkshire Water.

Commenting on the deal, Graham Shennan, managing director of Morgan Sindall, said:

“This is fantastic news for all of our Yorkshire Water team and the wider Morgan Sindall business. It builds on a strong relationship with Yorkshire Water and Grontmij, developed through the last two asset management periods and will further reinforce our position as one of the country’s leading water and infrastructure specialists.”

Projects will range in value from £5 million to £20 million and will include clean water and waste water projects from feasibility through design and construction to commissioning and handover.

Paul Whatley, regional director of water at Grontmij, said:

“We are very pleased to be working on such a varied programme of activity, which is testament to the fact that our project teams continue to deliver fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the UK’s utility companies.”
