Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for telemetry engineering support services worth an estimated £27 million.

The water company is looking for telemetry engineering support services contractors – scope of work includes:
- Design (excluding outline design), site survey and desktop surveys (as required)
- Remote Telemetry Units (RTUs) purchase via the RTU framework
- Install, commissioning, test, training, programming, general liaison and appropriate documentation for new and existing works
- Additional support to SW Electrical and Mechanical (E&M) department as required for comms fails, reactive faults and minor enhancements
Initial contract term is four years with a further option to extend up to a further 4 years.
