Anglian Water looking for early market engagement with the supply chain as part of an exercise to review their options for the implementation of a new framework for Modelling Optimisation.

The water company is running a market engagement exercise as part of the tender preparation.
Anglian is now inviting suitably qualified and experienced suppliers with an interest in providing their services to complete a questionnaire to help it gain a better understanding of:
- the feasibility of the requirements, and any factors it can influence to make the opportunity more attractive;
- the most appropriate approach;
- market appetite and ability to deliver Anglian Water’s requirements; and
- any possible risks or issues that may not have previously been considered.
Anglian Water has emphasised that at this stage detailed and lengthy submissions are not necessary, saying the PIN has been issued to in order to gauge capability and interest in the market to assist in its decision making.
The anticipated publication date of a formal contract notice if Anglian Water decides to go out to tender will be early February 2021.
