MOSL has announced the publication of MOSL’s Quarter 1 (Q1) Report for 2025/26, covering its key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement programmes.
The report shows 30% progress across MOSL’s improvement programmes, including two new programmes for 2025/26: the Strategic Data Programme and the Smart Meter Read Hub. The KPI report also shows the organisation met 22 out of 24 KPIs and includes three new KPIs introduced this year based on new services provided.
MOSL has made several updates to the report’s format to make it clearer and more user friendly. Alongside this, the organisation has introduced a new companion document, MOSL's Projected Milestones 2025/26, which outlines its planned and actual milestone delivery dates for the year. The document will be updated quarterly in line with the release of each report.
Key deliverables this quarter include:
- Smart Meter Read Hub: The Strategic Panel signed off the full business case and funding for the programme, and work began to select a delivery partner for the hub.
- Strategic Data Programme: MOSL created and approved the Project Initiation Document (PID) and the baseline programme plan.
- Strategic Metering Review: MOSL completed two outstanding milestones that had been deferred from 2024/25: ‘implementation of the short-term solution for sharing meter reading data’, and ‘development of the long-term implementation and delivery plan for sharing meter reading data’.
- Market Evolution: MOSL supported the Retailer Working Group (RWG) to deliver the Business Assessed and Rateable Value Charges request for information and the Strategic Panel in submitting its response to the Independent Commission’s call for evidence.
