Southern Water has launched a Market Engagement exercise for the supply of Development Consent Order Planning (consenting) Services with a potential estimated contract value of £3 million.

The water company is at an early stage in the development of its strategic water resource options for the Hampshire area and is testing the market prior to formulating any formal procurement opportunity.
Southern Water is inviting potential suppliers to contribute to the market research – the aim is to better understand market capabilities. The utility also wants to gain a better understanding of market capability and appetite to support Southern Water in securing development consent for its preferred water resource solution.
Engagement will take the form of virtual one to one meetings in May 2021 – interested suppliers who would like to book a virtual one to one meeting slot are being invited to register via a dedicated portal.
Closing date for expressing an interest in the engagement event and requesting a meeting slot is 12 noon on 12th May 2021 – click here to access the Prior Information Notice.
