Thames Water seeks supply chain input in early market engagement exercise for network monitors

Thames Water has issued a Request for Information (RFI) from suppliers in relation to the supply and repair of a variety of different kinds of network monitors and how these might be grouped into Lots in order to cover the entire Thames Water region in both clean and wastewater services.

Thames Water HQ

The water company currently has a number of Framework Agreements in place which are coming to an end which cover the supply, repair, install and maintenance of network monitors / data loggers across both clean and wastewater environments.

Thames Water has published the Period Indicative Notice seeking early market engagement via a RFI survey – this is a standalone exercise intended to gather information and it does not form part of any formal procurement process.

Thames said it may use any responses to this survey to inform any potential future network

monitor procurement processes. If it proceeds with procurement process, responses to the survey will not be considered as part of any pre-qualification or tender stage.

Participation in the market engagement will not automatically include or exclude suppliers from any future network monitor procurement processes.

Time limit for receipt of expressions of interest is 30 March 2022 – click here to access the PIN documentation
