NI Water is seeking supply chain input on standpipe management system – the water company has issued a general market enquiry to identify and engage with contractors and suppliers who can deliver and maintain a standpipe management system.

NI Water would like to engage with the market to look at options for the future of standpipes with a choice to invest in smarter technology and equipment at a higher level or engage with a contractor with expertise to transfer the provision of metered standpipes to a specialist.
NI Water is seeking responses to a Request For Information questionnaire to assess the interest, capacity and capability of the market in providing these types of goods and services. The utility said analysis of the responses received will be used to support the best procurement strategy to deliver the services in the future – for example, either via a province wide service to a single external contractor or to keep /enhance the internal existing process.
Further market engagement in the form of presentations, workshops, meetings etc is envisaged following RFI responses, with a new PIN issued to the market for expressions of interest. Further details on this will be provided closer to the time.
Deadline to request the RFI questionnaire is 25th August 2022 – click here to download the PIN
