Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for property cleaning and restoration services worth up to an estimated £4 million.
The water company is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of property clean and restoration services, especially after a flooding incident, covering both clean and waster water.
Scope of the contract will cover supply of disaster restoration and cleaning services on Yorkshire Water client's properties. The main focus of services to be provided will be after leaks, bursts, pollution or flooding incidents, of both clean and waste water.
This will include, drying, deodorising, decontamination and repairs of the building (including surroundings) and of furniture/fittings inside the building.
Initial contract term is 36 months, with a further 24 months extension option.
