Thames Water is inviting suppliers to register for small project work (Runway 0) – the water company is establishing a qualification system to provide the opportunity for contractors to express their interest in providing small project works.

The intention is that the qualification system will be used primarily as a shortlist for below threshold contracting outside of the Utilities Contract Regulations regime. Works contracts are expected to typically be below £250,000 in value – the thresholds remain subject to review.
Small Project Work is defined as civils repairs and maintenance of Thames Water's water and
wastewater sites. Contractors are being invited to apply for categories of works identified as "Works" as detailed within the system.
Although the register will be indefinitely open, to be included in the first phase of projects/works, interested suppliers will need to have applied and submitted a completed survey response by noon on 2nd November 2022.
