NI Water has launched a pre-market engagement process for its upcoming facilities management and grounds maintenance contract worth an estimated £35 million.
As part of the pre-market engagement exercise, NI Water is inviting interested suppliers to provide feedback and to meet with the water company to discuss the facilities management and grounds maintenance contract which it anticipates will be issued to the market in autumn 2023.
This will assist NI Water said the engagement will assist it with in developing the specification and approach to any future tender process. The utility would like to hear from suppliers who can deliver facilities management and/or grounds maintenance services.
The services are currently being delivered via two contracts: C1034- Above Grounds Maintenance and, C1085 Grounds Maintenance contracts which expire in November 2024 and December 2024 respectively. The new tender exercise will combine the requirements into four separate lots:
Suppliers are being asked to respond to NI Water’s request for feedback by the submission deadline of 9th June. Requests for meetings should also be submitted by the closing date and time.
