Anglian Water tenders £6 million contract for asset testing, maintenance and remedial works

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract worth an estimated £6 million for asset testing, maintenance and remedial works on some 39,000 assets.

The water company has approximately 39,000 assets that need to be tested every 6 or 12 months, plus remedial works that need to be carried out on some of these assets.

Scope of works to be carried out under the contract includes:

  • Examination, Testing & Certification of Lifting Equipment
  • Pressure Vessels
  • Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems
  • General Ventilation Systems
  • Crane Maintenance
  • Minor Remedials
  • Installations & Purchases of Lifting Equipment

 

Initial term of the contract, which is being tendered in three separate Lots, is 5 years with the option to extend for up to a further 36 months. Bidders may apply for one or more Lots.
