Thames Water has further extended the deadlines for interested suppliers to respond to two technology contracts currently out to tender.
At the beginning of January the water company invited interested suppliers to respond to a Request For Proposals (RFP) from qualified vendors aiming to automate and optimise specific aspects of its Regional SCADA system.
The time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate, which was originally published as 12 January 2024, has now been put back to 2 February 2024.
In addition, a separate tender originally issued in November launching a search for a digital twin technology provider with a deadline 22 January 2024 has likewise now been extended to 2 February 2024. Thames Water.had issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) to identify a qualified supplier to provide a Water Treatment Work Digital Twin (WTW DT) solution that will enhance the organization's operational efficiency,streamline processes and improve overall productivity.
