Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 framework contract for the supply and maintenance of dewatering equipment worth an estimated £39 million.

The tender is being tendered in into three Lots with each Lot further divided into sub-lots, for a total of seven Lots as follows:
Lot 1 Supply, Installation and Commissioning
- Lot 1a - Supply, Install and Commissioning of Centrifuges, Centrifuge Spares & Ancillary Equipment - £12,000,000
- Lot 1b - Supply, Install and Commissioning of Drum Thickeners, Drum Thickener Spares & Ancillary Equipment - £5,000,000
- Lot 1c - Supply, Install and Commissioning of Sludge Conveyors, Sludge Conveyor Spares & Ancillary Equipment - £4,400,000
Lot 2 Maintenance
- Lot 2a - Maintenance of Centrifuges - £8,000,000
- Lot 2b - Maintenance of Belt Thickeners, Belt Presses, and Drum Thickeners - £1,600,000
- Lot 2c - Maintenance including hire of Conveyors - £1,200,000
Lot 3 Hire
- Lot 3a - Hire of Mobile Centrifuges and Hire of Operators - £6,800,000
