Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for CHP Carbon Tank Replenishment & Testing worth an estimated £2.5 million.

Scope of services to be provided under the contract include:
- Sampling and analysis of Filter tanks on CHP engines
- Replenishment of Tanks to transport, empty, clean & refill
- Emission testing of CHP engines.
Initial contract term is 4 years with an extension option of up to a further 4 years.
The water company is looking to establish a framework agreement with a single operator.
