Wealden District Council has gone out to tender with a framework contract for professional services worth an estimated £76.5 million.

The Council is seeking to establish a framework for the appointment of professional services consultants to support the delivery of corporate, strategic and capital construction projects – Wealden is looking to appoint a wide variety of experienced consultants to the framework.
The framework is targeted for use by the district and borough Councils in East Sussex: Wealden District Council, Rother District Council, Lewes District Council, Eastbourne Borough Council, and Hastings Borough Council.
The framework is being tendered in 15 Lots for the following consultants:
- Lot 1 Architect Services - £10 million
- Lot 2 Mechanical and Electrical - £8 million
- Lot 3 Civil & Structural Engineers - £8 million
- Lot 4 Quantity Surveyor - £6 million
- Lot 5 Employers Agent Services - £7 million
- Lot 6 Project Management - £10 million
- Lot 7 Clerk of Works - £4.5 million
- Lot 8 Archaeological and Heritage Consultant - £2.5 million
- Lot 9 Landscape Architects Services - £4 million
- Lot 10 Planning Consultant - £4 million
- Lot 11 Transport Consultant - £5 million
- Lot 12 Building Surveyors - £3 million
- Lot 13 Ground Investigation - £3 million
- Lot 14 Ecological Survey Services - £3 million
- Lot 15 Flood Risk AssessmentServices - £2.5 million
The procurement, which is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement, involves the establishment of a framework agreement with several operators
