The public broadcaster is looking to put a framework contract in place starting in mid-2025 for water supply and wastewater services at a number of locations across England and Scotland – 81 meters in total.
Initial contract will be 2 years with a further 1 year potential extension option.
Where there is more than one supplier, the BBC reserves the right to require a grouping of suppliers to take a particular legal form or to require a single supplier to take primary liability or to require that each party undertakes joint and several liability.
The procurement is covered by the Government Procurement Agreement.
In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions and Services Ltd) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders. However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous will be made by the BBC.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 28 February 2025 – click here to access the tender documentation.
