Surrey County Council, working with its partners Dukefield Energy Ltd. has gone out to tender with a major contract to put a framework agreement in place for water and wastewater supply and services worth an estimated £400 million.
Dukefield Energy Ltd (a subsidiary of Dukefield Ltd) are acting as agents for Surrey County Council in the development and ongoing contract management of the framework.
The framework agreement is intended to meet the water supply and services needs of a wide range of public sector organisations, including the supply of:
- metered and unmetered water
- metered and unmetered wastewater
- trade effluent services
- ancillary services.
The framework will be open for use by all contracting authorities across the UK public sector, including:
- central government departments and agencies
- Non Departmental Public Bodies
- NHS bodies
- Local Authorities
- Police Authorities
- Emergency Services
- Educational Establishments
- Hospices
- Registered Charities
- National Parks
- Registered Social Landlords.
The Council and Dukefield Energy Ltd. are looking to appoint up to six suppliers to the framework which will run for an initial 36 initial month term with the option to extend by a further 12 months.
