United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP8 framework contract for the repair and maintenance of actuators and valves worth an estimated £10.4 million.

The tender is being launched to meet the water company’s requirements for repair and maintenance of actuators and valves across its sites.
The contract is being tendered in two Lots,
- Lot 1 – Repair and Maintenance of Actuators (£7,400,000)
- Lot 2 – Repair and Maintenance of Valves (£3,000,000)
United Utilities is looking to appoint up to six suppliers to the framework, which will run for up to a maximum of six years, starting with an initial two year period.
