United Utilities has concluded the process of awarding framework agreements for its Minor Works delivery runway – the frameworks form part of the build only delivery runway within the water company’s AMP8 operating model.

Framework agreements have been awarded for construction of assets in two Lots:
Lot 1 - Civils Construction
Lot 2 - Mechanical & Electrical Installation
Lot 1 Civils Construction: water treatment and network pipelines, waste water treatment and network pipelines, bioresources, pumping stations & storage, CSOs.

- safety instrumented systems
- above-ground pipework
- valves and actuators
- pressure vessels and boilers
- heat exchangers
- gas systems including storage, consumers, pipework and ancillaries
- equipment and protective systems for use in explosive atmospheres
- CSO chamber installations & pump return
- Screen & weir installations
- MEICA Installation and commissioning
Initial contract term for the framework is 6 years. United Utilities have the option to extend for one or more further periods of up to 5 years in total, up to a longstop date of 31 March 2035.
