Southern Water has awarded a £250 million AMP8 contract to existing contractor Clancy which will see a transformation of the way the water company works to drive performance improvements in key areas.

Clancy will be responsible for delivering both reactive and proactive work, including responding to emergency calls, supporting leakage reduction, working with housing developers and businesses, and installing meters.

“This agreement prepares us to meet the service levels expected by our customers and will help us to deliver on our performance commitments for years to come.

The contract will start in October 2025 and run through to 2030, with the potential for contract extensions.
