Portsmouth Water has awarded an AMP8 contract to carry out 8 different investigations during AMP8 to assess the potential effects of current and future predictions abstractions and develop catchment management options.

The investigations will form part of the water company’s work as part of the Water Industry National Environmental Program (WINEP).
The contract was tendered via the Achilles UVDB qualification system for utilities
Ricardo UK Ltd has been awarded the contract, one of four companies who tendered for the work.
