Severn Trent tenders £34.2 million AMP8 contract for CHP (Combined Heat & Power) unit/engines

Severn Trent has gone out to tender with an AMP8 contract for CHP (Combined Heat & Power) unit/engines with an estimated total value of £34.2 million.

The tender covers the water company's CHP unit/engines requirements for its bioresources area.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031 with a further possible extension option to 31 March 2036.

The contract is being tendered in two separate Lots - Lot 1. CHP Units (£29.16m inc VAT) and Lot 2. Engines Only (£5.04m inc VAT) 

Deadline to submit enquiries about the tender is 4:00pm on 13 August 2025 and deadline to submit tenders is 4:00pm on 26 August 2025.
