NI Water has awarded a contract for the provision of sludge press servicing/maintenance/repair and supply/delivery/fitting of spare parts and filter cloths with estimated value of £8.3 million (inc VAT).

Earliest date the contract will be signed is 11 February 2026 following conclusion of the standstill period on 9 February 2026.
Bangor, Co. Down-based firm Drilling & Pumping Supplies Ltd has been awarded the contract, one of three companies in the bidding for the work.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 13 April 2026 to 12 April 2028 with further possible extension options up to 12 April 2031.
The contract had an intial estimated value of £10.368 million (inc VAT) when it first went out to tender in June 2025.
