United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP8 framework contract for the provision of diving services with a total estimated value of c£5.72 million (inc VAT).

The water company is looking to establish a single-Lot Framework covering the provision of general
diving services for inland / inshore projects undertaking commercial diving operations in accordance with the Diving at Work Regulations 1997, the Approved Code of Practice for Commercial Diving Projects Inland/Inshore and any other applicable legislation.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 16 July 2026 to 16 July 2029 with further possible extension options up to 16 July 2034.
The procurement will be delivered under the Competitive Flexible Procedure, based on a multi-stage process, comprised of the following stages:
- Stage 1: Condition of Participation
- Stage 2: Invitation to Negotiate
- Stage 3: Best and Final Offer
Deadline for submission of enquiries about the tender is 4:00pm on 30 April 2026 and the tender submission deadline is 4:00pm on 7 May 2026.
Estimated contract award decision date is 18 June 2026.
